A. Use of National Incident Management System. The use of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) is mandated for the management of all emergency incidents within the Fairbanks North Star Borough.

B. Definition. “National Incident Management System (NIMS)” is a system and set of procedures mandated in Presidential Directive No. 5 for use in managing emergency incidents whether large or small. (Ord. 2012-35 § 2, 2012; Ord. 2005-80 § 2, 2005. 2004 Code § 2.28.171.)
