The petition shall be reviewed for number and validity of signatures. If the petition contains a sufficient number of valid signatures and all of the real property is eligible for inclusion into a road service area, it will be accepted. If the petition does not contain a sufficient number of valid signatures, it will be returned to the sponsors who may obtain additional valid signatures or abandon the effort.
