A. A Borough employee may not render services to benefit a personal or financial interest or engage in or accept outside employment, if the outside employment or service is incompatible or in conflict with the proper discharge of official duties.

B. A Borough employee rendering outside services for compensation, or engaging in outside employment, shall report to the director of the employee’s department as soon as possible and in no event later than January 1st of the year after which the outside services or employment began. Any change in an employee’s outside service or employment activity must be reported to the director as soon as reasonably possible after it occurs.
