Within the Department of Parks and Recreation there is established a Parks and Recreation Commission consisting of 11 members to be appointed by the Borough Mayor and confirmed by the Assembly. Members shall be appointed with due regard to their interest in the broad spectrum of parks and recreation activities to include, but not be limited to, trails, adaptive recreation activities, senior activities, community events, aquatic sports, and winter sports.
