An owner aggrieved by the decision of the animal control officer may appeal to the Animal Control Commission. Such request for appeal must be filed within 10 days of the date of the decision of the animal control officer. The Animal Control Commission may affirm, reverse, or modify the decision of the animal control officer. The Animal Control Commission shall have the power to euthanize the animal. The Animal Control Commission shall set a hearing date to be held within 20 days of the receipt of the request for appeal by the owner.
