A. An animal that has been impounded for quarantine shall be handled pursuant to Chapter 22.24 FNSBC.

B. Any animal that is the subject of an appeal to the animal control commission may be impounded through the date of the hearing. The owner shall pay in advance the estimated boarding fees from the date of impoundment through the date of the hearing. No person shall fail or refuse to surrender any animal for impoundment as required in this section when demand is made by an animal control officer. (Ord. 2017-27 § 7, 2017.)
