A. The Mayor shall provide written notice within 14 days of the vacancy, whether by removal for cause, resignation or other causes, of the Borough Attorney, to the Assembly and set forth criteria for filling the position, with Assembly approval.

B. The Assembly shall first review and confirm, by majority vote, the selection of the Borough Attorney. (Ord. 84-60 § 2, 1984. 2004 Code § 2.19.030.)
