A. The sketch of a proposed subdivision submitted in support of an application for waiver shall consist of the following:

1. A legible sketch drawn to a scale of not less than one inch equals 400 feet:

a. On approved quality material,

b. Eight and one-half by 11 inches or larger;

2. Depicting the following:

a. Location,

b. Configuration,

c. Acreage of each parcel proposed;

3. Locating the following:

a. Septic systems,

b. Wells,

c. Residential structures,

d. Other structures,

e. Utility improvements,

f. Other existing improvements,

g. Category A, B and C trails as designated by the adopted comprehensive recreational trail plan.

B. No survey is required if the boundaries of the parcels to be created are identified by aliquot parts descriptions and the parcels are nominally 40 acres or larger.

C. In other cases, the parcel boundaries shall be surveyed and a certificate of survey submitted to the Platting Officer prior to the recording of a certificate of waiver. This survey need not be completed prior to the submittal of the waiver application.

D. Certificate of Survey Standards.

1. Size of sketch, eight and one-half inches by 11 inches or eight and one-half inches by 14 inches;

2. Outline of each parcel being created;

3. Ties to section corners, aliquot parts corners, or control monuments;

4. Distance and bearings around each parcel complete enough to calculate a boundary closure;

5. Basis of bearing;

6. Description of monuments set or found at each angle point in boundary of parcels;

7. Location of dedicated right-of-way being used as access;

8. Location of any section line easement within the boundary of the parcel being subdivided;

9. Category A and B trails as designated by the adopted comprehensive recreational trail plan, reserved by separate deed of dedication, with recordation data noted;

10. North arrow and scale;

11. Acreage of each parcel created;

12. Registered land surveyor’s seal;
