The Director of Public Works shall have the authority to place such traffic regulation devices within road service areas as they deem necessary for the public safety. The Director of Public Works shall maintain a written record of an analysis justifying the location and purpose of each traffic regulatory device placed pursuant to this chapter. All traffic regulatory devices shall conform to the most recent edition of the Alaska Traffic Manual. (Ord. 2019-09 § 2, 2019; Ord. 88-024 § 2, 1988. 2004 Code § 12.02.010.)
